“In the 1980s, the Brazilian government tried to force a domestic computer industry into existence through a protectionist policy that required computers to be developed within the country. A conferência é o FISL, mas o organizador poderia muito bem estar no FSM…
A única cultura que a reserva fomentou aqui foi a do contrabando e da pirataria entre os usuários em geral, e a do rent-seeking entre os que tinham o mercado cativo pra eles… vai ver que é isso que é “self-supporting”…
